Launching Your Website

Here's a final checklist to make sure that your 
website is polished and ready to launch!

By submitting your site to the major search engines for FREE (such as Google, Yahoo, MSN etc.) it makes it easy for people to find your website. If you do not submit your website, then the only way for people to find your website it to type in your exact website address.

You may have already done a few things on the list. Every step is actually quite simple and you do not need to be a "techie" to do any of this. 

However, please note that it is very important that you DO NOT "create a Google site map" or "submit your website to search engines" until you have completed everything above them on the list.

• Point DNS to your new website (Makes your web address ww.YourWebsiteName.com) We recommend doing this from the get go!!!
  
• Proof Your Site A very nifty checklist including creating "Friendly URL's," spell and grammar check, verifying links work and checking for duplicate wording. 
  
• Add Keywords and website description. We'll show how easy this is and why it's important. 
  
• Set-up Email
