ASCAP Sponsors "Wilder Side of Nashville" Showcase 
 
  Nashville, TN – The Premier of a new showcase for independent artists will be held October 11, 2005 at 8:30 p.m. “The Wilder Side of Nashville” is held the second Tuesday of each month at the local music hot spot, 12th & Porter. ASCAP & www.MusicBizWebsitePro.com are sponsoring the event, which is hosted by Nashville producer Matt Wilder and artist Annelise LeCheminant (le-shem-i-nänt). Admission is FREE.
 
  The music featured in the showcase is outside the Nashville "box" of country and contemporary christian music. Wilder Side music varies from alternative rock, hybrid jazz, blues, funk, to eclectic & mainstream pop. Each month a number of artists/groups have the opportunity to play a short set of songs for a growing audience. 
 
  Artists scheduled to perform at this showcase include, Everyday Atlas, Ten Finger Orchestra, Shirock, Jay Speight and Annelise LeCheminant (le-shem-i-nänt). 
 
  “The Wilder Side” is accepting submissions for future showcase listings. Submissions can be sent to “Wilder Side of Nashville,” c/o Chad Green at Two Music Square West, Nashville, TN 37203. Artists who do not have their own band have the option of using the Wilder Side band, comprised of some of Nashville’s top session players.
